To Be Joyful Again, a non denominational support group for those who have lost a spouse or intended life partner, meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 7 PM at Holy Family Parish, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. Come get the support you need in this difficult time. All are welcome. 

If you have been recently widowed and are still struggling  with the loss, or if you have been widowed for some time and  need something to get you “over the hump” because you seem  stuck in one spot, this program is designed to help you move on  with life while still treasuring your past and its precious memories. November 4 & 5 at Nazareth Retreat House in Batavia,

This unique retreat/workshop (designed specifically for spousal loss) is for both men and women (all ages) who have been widowed and are still trying to find hope and new joy in life.  All are welcome june 24 & 25 (No overnight) at St. Julie’s Parish in Tinley Park, Illinois.

Dealing with the loss of a loved one is difficult. Our Bereavement Ministry aims to ease the pain of these difficult times by helping you through the process of planning the funeral Mass and will be there for you on the day of the funeral to help in any way needed. The Funeral Luncheon Ministry, provide a place for families to find comfort in their time of grieving. We cater the warm portion of the meal, but look to volunteers to offer a personal touch by providing salads and desserts, homemade or store bought to complement the meal. We also welcome those who wish to help out the day of the luncheon, setting up the room, and setting out food and drinks and cleaning up afterwards. We are hoping you'll prayerfully consider assisting us.
