The Scouts from Troops 399B, 399G and Pack 297 will be selling fresh wreaths at St. Matthew and St. Hubert after Masses (as long as supplies last) over the weekend of November 18 & 19. The wreaths will be 24” and are $25 each. Thank you for your continued support of our Scouting program.
The Scouts of Troops 399B and 399G spent the evening sorting, counting and packaging all of the school supplies collected at SS Matthew and Hubert Churches. Thanks to your generosity we delivered 40 cartons of supplies to the Grant-A-Wish Children and Family Center. Hundreds of folders, a thousand crayons, gallons of glue!!! The Troops are excited to be part of this first combined activity between St. Matthew and St. Hubert Churches.
Please join us in congratulating Danielle Tarchala (pictured above with her parents; Barb and Ted). This past week she successfully passed her Eagle Scout Board of Review. Danielle is a member of BSA Troops 196 and 399G sponsored by St Hubert. For her Eagle project she coordinated a crew to do plaster touch up and paint the walls of the lower level of the church just in time for Easter. Congratulations Danielle!
The Scouts of Troops 399B and 399G want to thank the St. Hubert community for their support of our clothing drive. Thanks to your generosity, we collected 2400 pounds of clothing and 175 pounds of books. We received almost $600.00 in profits! Thank you for your continued support of our efforts.

To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, a candidate is required to plan, organize and manage a community service activity. Danielle Tarchala, a member of Troop 399G BSA, is pictured here with some of her crew. Over several days, Danielle's crew patched drywall and painted all of the walls in the lower level of the Church. Just in time for Easter, the room received a much-needed facelift. Thank you to Danielle and her team.
Kyle Wang, pictured here with his parents, passed his Eagle Scout Board of Review. Each scout is required to complete a community service project as part of the process. Kyle organized and managed a crew of scouts and adults to clean and paint 103 windows at St Hubert School. Kyle is a senior at Hoffman Estates High School. After graduation, he will be attending Kendall College in their culinary program. Kyle will receive his award at a future ceremony.
The Scouts would like to express their thanks to all of the St. Hubert parishioners that supported the Christmas Wreath sales. This was our most successful year. Your purchases will go a long way to help cover some of ongoing expenses.

The Scouts from St,. Hubert Troops 399 and 399G spent Saturday working with the Hoffman Estates Post Office on their annual food drive. The scouts sorted and packed over 70 cases of food and personal items. (Just over 2,000 items). Thank you to everyone in the parish that contributed to the drive.
We are selling Christmas wreaths again this year. The Scouts will be at the Masses on November 20 & 21st selling fresh 20" wreaths. The cost will still be only $20.
The Scouts of Troop 399 are sponsoring their annual school supply collection in support of the Grant-A-Wish organization of Chicago. There will be collection boxes in the narthex. Supplies most needed: Bookbags, Calculators, Erasers, Rulers, Color markers, Pens-blue & black, Small hand sanitizers, Pencil sharpeners, Notebooks, Pencil boxes. Any supplies will be accepted!

Boy Scouts Troop 399 will be selling wreaths again this year. As in the past, the wreaths will be individually wrapped. The boys can hand them to you or take them to your cars. We will be selling outside after the Masses on November 21-22. The price is $20 for a 26" wreath.
