It is common to bring dogs and cats, but you can also bring your hamsters, birds, bunnies and the like. It is  safer for your small pets, such as these, to be in their cage. Let all God’s creation be kept from harm, abuse or neglect as we celebrate the feast of St. Francis, who honored God with respect for all God has put on Earth. Elder financial abuse is a lesser known, but a critical component that abusers use to exert control over their victims. Local libraries and townships offer seminars on the latest possible scams. Take advantage of those seminars to become more informed.

Every Friday morning at 8:00 AM, we gather at St. Hubert church to pray the rosary before the 8:30 AM Mass. It would be wonderful if you could join us in this beautiful prayer.

The Catechumenate for Children/Teens, which is an Adaptation of the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA), is the process by which unbaptized young people of the age of reason come into the Church. Older children who are already baptized, but who are uncatechized, also can prepare to celebrate the sacraments of Confirmation and Holy Eucharist together with their peers during the Easter Vigil or at a Rite of Full Communion.

LIFE CHAIN is a peaceful, prayerful public witness of pro-life Americans standing in honor of 60 million lives lost to abort ion, praying for our nation, for people in crisis situations and for an end to abortion. This event takes place Sunday, October 1 from 2—3 PM.

We just ask that you bring snacks (a suggestion is something salty and something sweet) for 12-15 people and stay for a couple of minutes to be introduced and just to say “Hi” on a Tuesday night around 7:00 PM.

Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to Catholics from all walks of life who are unable to participate in the  Eucharistic Liturgy at their parishes. There is a 2 day training is on Saturdays, Sept. 30th and Oct. 14th, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish.

Join us in the Parish Ministry Center from 6-7 for a Professional Critique, then join us for our session on An Insider’s View of Pitfalls To Avoid For Active Job Seekers from 7-9.

Do you have an older child who has not been baptized? Do you have a son or daughter who is past the age of seven/eight who has not received First Communion? CMI at St. Hubert is designed for those children who are un-baptized or un-catechized. Sacramental Preparation Classes will be held on the St Hubert Campus and begin Sunday October 15
