Have you thought about becoming Catholic? God calls us in many different ways - often through a friend or spouse, our children, a beautiful sunset, an inspiring story. Other times, we may hear God's call during a crisis. Sometimes, we just have a restless feeling that something is missing. No matter what, the Church's hope and prayer is that when God calls you, you will call us.
Preparation for Confirmation for Vicariate I parishioners will be offered weekly on Mondays beginning Monday, March 6, 2023 from 7-9 PM, at St. Edna Parish, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd. in Arlington Heights.
Families of preschoolers and kindergarteners are invited to join us on January 28 for a morning of fun with cookie decorating, games, music, and even an indoor snowball fight! We hope to see you there. Sign up today!
Our parishioners are extremely generous. In addition to on-going donations of time, service, and helping those in need, some also ask how they can help give back in other ways. There are some short-term and long-term methods that some parishioners have used in the past, but are not always immediately known. As the holiday season and end of the year approaches, here are a few different vehicles some people have used for their charitable giving.
This beautiful, special season is a good time to recognize and thank our liturgical ministers - lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, altar servers and sacristans - as well as the unscheduled cadre of ushers who serve our Masses with such dedication and care. Our choir and music ministries, under the direction of Ed Magistrado, make the Masses truly shine. Please take a moment to thank a liturgical minister for this wonderful gift to you!
The love, joy and peace that Jesus brought into the world are always present. Even if we have been away from the Church, God is continually inviting us to dwell in his love and presence. Have you and your family been "away" from the Catholic Church? Is your family trying to find its way back? Now would be a great time to make a new connection with the Catholic Church.
We’ve learned that the Cardinal Cupich will announce his decision for our grouping on Thursday, February 2, the feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the meeting and how to participate.

Congratulations to our 6/7 grade Boys Basketball team on their first-place finish at the Saints Peter & Paul 46th Annual Trojan Classic Basketball Tournament! To get in the holiday spirit, our Junior and Senior Bands performed at the Winter Band Concert. Merry Christmas St. Hubert!
The Christmas Spirit is meant to be experienced throughout the year. The love, joy and peace that Jesus brought into the world are always present. Even if we have been away from the Church, God is continually inviting us to dwell in his love and presence. Children’s Ministry of Initiation (CMI) encourages you to call and see how you and your children can experience a journey back to God and the faith community of the Church. New classes will begin in the fall of 2023 but now would be a great time to make a new connection with the Catholic Church.

A special thank you to the St Hubert School Band and the Night Express for their wonderful performances. We look forward to our next event. Stay tuned!

Our Nativity Scene is growing! Classes continue to add a piece a day to the crèche, read an Advent Reflection and pray in front of the crèche. Our preschoolers celebrated St. Nicholas Day and our eighth graders led this week’s school Mass celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Many thanks to our FSA (Family & School Association) volunteers who made this week's Santa Sale possible. The students loved shopping for everyone on their lists! Students were knighted in recognition for their accomplishments at our Knights recognition ceremony and our sixth graders graduated from the DARE program.
