The Baptism team needs help! We need extra hands to help with Sunday Baptisms. It will not take a lot of your time and I promise you will find it rewarding.
A parishioner, Patrick Fleming, has offered to repair broken rosaries. There will be drop off receptacles at the ministry station in the narthex, and rosaries can be dropped off there. Please donate any unused, broken rosaries so that their parts can be used to repair member’s rosaries.
This year, St. Hubert has the privilege of hosting a Joyful Again Retreat the weekend of October 12-13. Joyful Again is a unique program that has been designed to help widowed individuals, with God’s help, to move through bereavement toward spiritual and emotional wholeness. It will take many hands to ensure the success of this retreat.

St. Hubert Church asks sponsors to attend right from the start of RCIA. In the early sessions, sponsors help to provide a welcoming atmosphere to the newcomers. The RCIA team is a group of committed Catholics who meet with inquirers on a regular basis. They serve as facilitators of the pre-catechumenate, the dismissal catechesis, and have some responsibility for the extended catechesis during the catechumenate period. They serve as ministers of hospitality and help to deepen the inquirers connection with the parish community. Practicing Catholics are urged to prayerfully consider this opportunity.

Children’s Ministry of Initiation (CMI) is modeled after the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). CMI at St. Hubert is designed for children who are un-baptized or un-catechized. Together with their parents, children attend classes. Classes begin on October 20, 2019.
RCIA—AN INVITATION TO COME AND SEE! RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. It is an opportunity for those who have never been baptized, or baptized with little or no affiliation or religious training in the Catholic religion, to learn and ask questions about the Catholic faith.
