On Monday, September 10, the tour of the International Pilgrim Statue of Mary, which honors the apparition of Our Lady of Fatima, will be coming to St. Hubert. We will have a day of prayer, beginning with a prayer service at 10:30 AM as the statue is brought into our church. There will be Eucharistic Adoration from Noon to 6:00 PM, and at the beginning of each hour, a bilingual rosary will be said in different languages reflecting the diversity of St. Hubert Parish. We will close the day with a Mass at 7:00 PM to mark this very special day of prayer in our community with a social to follow in the narthex.
Has expressed an interest in becoming Catholic? Has a child over the age of seven who has not been baptized? Was baptized Catholic as a child, but has not celebrated the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist? Children’s Ministry of Initiation (CMI) offers an opportunity to come together in a small group to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist during the Easter season. You are welcome to participate in the process with your questions, your insights, and your faith story in a warm accepting setting.
Students Preschool through 8th Grade had their first day of school on Monday, August 20th. Students came eager and excited to start the new school year! The year began with Early Childhood families participating in a meet and greet prior to the start of school. Families and students received information and got to meet the teachers. 1st-8th grade families had a daytime and evening supply drop off, which allowed the students to be ready for learning on their 1st day of school!
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the place for you. Every year adults are welcomed into the Catholic Community through RCIA. It is a learning experience that will change your life and give your life new meaning and new direction. We are scheduling interviews for those thinking about joining the Catholic Church or Adult Catholics wishing to complete the sacraments of initiation. The Job & Networking Ministry will meet tonight, August 27, 7:00—9:15 PM in the PMC Club Room. This is your opportunity to both learn and teach others. We will select a series of career and job seeker related questions and ask the group to develop strategies to help us deal with these issues.
Cub Scout Pack 399 will be selling World’s Finest Chocolate Bars and Meat Sticks after Masses this weekend. All meat sticks and chocolate bars are $1. Money raised will go toward camping trips, camping supplies, the blue & gold banquet, and other activities.
Children’s Ministry of Initiation (CMI) is a special parish process for families with children in grades 3 through 8 who are unbaptized children over the age of 7 who wish to learn more about the Catholic Faith and possibly become Catholic; baptized Christian Children from other denominations who would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith, and possibly be received into, the Catholic Church; or baptized Catholics who would like to prepare for Eucharist and Confirmation by renewing their understanding of their Catholic Faith. Classes begin on October 14.
August is the month of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Every Friday morning at 6:30 AM, we gather in Church to pray the rosary. It would be wonderful if you could join in this beautiful prayer.

The St. Hubert Music Ministry will be starting its 2018-2019 season on the first week of September. We are in need of more singers and instrumentalists for the Morning Adult Choir, Treble Youth Choir (grades 3-12), and 6 PM Mass Choir (young adults/adults). A 4th Grade Teacher Needed for Wednesdays, 4:00 – 5:45 PM. Classes will begin in the fall. Halos and training will be provided. Adult aides needed for Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Please consider volunteering for this very rewarding ministry.
