On Easter Sunday I presided at two Masses in the Parish Ministry Center. I asked for prayers for two Catholic Chaldian priests who were going to fly Easter Monday to Turkey to minister to the Catholic migrants in their camps for three weeks. Near the end of their stay they had a close call. They made it home safe and sound. Thanks for your prayers for them and their ministry in Turkey. They are Father Fawaz Kako and Father Fadi Habib.
This day we celebrate when the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples of Jesus. t the 9:00 AM Mass on May 20th we will be commissioning the Newly Baptized, Newly Received for those in RCIA and CMI.

Service Project 2018: On Sunday, May 6th the students in CMI spent the morning planting flowers to beautify the entrance of the Parish Ministry Center. This was made possible by the generous donations of their families. Thank You!
Children’s Ministry of Initiation (CMI) is a process for children 7 years of age or older. Immediate preparations are now underway for our CMI sessions to begin in October.
You are invited to join us on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Matthew Catholic Church. The meeting will be held in Room 1 (Stage) of the church building (Enter the main entrance of the church and make a left). We will be reading and discussing The United States Conference of Catholic Bishop’s most informative pastoral response to domestic violence, “When I Call for Help.”
