This training will provide the skills and self-confidence needed for those who wish to become lectors in their own parish. Open to adults and high school students. We are recruiting for the coming school year beginning in September. Our greatest need, at present, is in the Confirmation Program where we have two vacancies. We meet in the school on Sunday evenings from 7:20—9:00 PM. We also need a 6th Grade teacher who has an interest in teaching scripture for a class on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00—5:45 PM.
On Holy Thursday and on Holy Saturday the celebration of the Eucharist is permitted only at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper (Thursday evening) and at the Vigil on Holy Saturday. No Eucharist is celebrated on Good Friday. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to come together for a different form of liturgy: Liturgy of the Hours. We will begin each morning of the Triduum - Thursday, March 29; Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 with the celebration of Morning Prayer at 8:30 AM in the church.

Training to be a Bereavement Minister will be at Holy Family Parish in Inverness on Saturday, April 7th from 10:30 AM to 3:45 PM. There Were 44 units of blood drawn. The units collected will potentially save 132 lives!!! Thanks to all of those who gave unselfishly of themselves to help others. We are having problems merging the Parishioner data files with Overt Press, the envelope provider. If you have experienced problems over the last few months please know we are addressing the issue. We will be converting to a new web-based Parish Data system over the next couple of months. I appreciate your patience and understanding. We will make sure there are plenty of generic envelopes in the Narthex.
