WINGS is in need of adult female volunteers on Friday, December 14 from 4 to 6 PM to assist WINGS clients as they come into the Holiday Site to shop. Please arrive by 3:45 pm to receive your assignment Those interested in volunteering must preregister before December by contacting Sylvia at dv.outreach@sainthubert.org

Please join us for an old fashioned caroling experience. We will gather on Monday, December 10 at 6:30 PM in the Narthex of the church. As we walk the close-by neighborhood and offer our songs to willing listeners, we will gift them with candy canes. After warming the hearts of our neighbors, we will return to the narthex and warm our noses and toes while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies.

Help us make a hope filled holiday! Shift times on December 7-9 at the Schaumburg Convention Center Adventure Hall.

Advent is a time of looking for light in the midst of darkness, but the darkness of suffering can be a challenging place to look for hope and light. Come join us as Mary LaMont leads our search through the Advent readings and new developments in theology and psychology for ways to find God’s presence and support during times of suffering. Program takes place on Thursday, November 29 from 7:00—8:30 PM at Church of the Holy Spirit

One hour a week is all it takes is one hour a week to help an older adult remain independent in their own home. We REALLY NEED you (11:00 AM - Noon) to bring friendship and nutritious meals to them. Click here for more details.

Violence against women and girls is one of the most widespread, persistent and devastating human rights violations in our world today. The premise of the day is to raise awareness of the fact that women around the world are subject to rape, domestic violence and other forms of violence; furthermore, one of the aims of the day is to highlight that the scale and true nature of the issue is often hidden.

Please take home any pictures and/or mementos you brought in for our All Soul’s Day shrine in the narthex. Thank you for sharing the pictures of your loved ones with our parish community. Any that are not picked up will be taken over to the Parish Office after next weekend.
