The Knights of Columbus Hoffman-Schaumburg Council #6964 will host an Altar Server appreciation pizza party on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at St. Hubert Parish Ministry Center beginning at 6:30 PM and ending at 7:45 PM. Altar Servers from St. Marcelline, Church of the Holy Spirit, St. Hubert, and St. Matthew are invited.
Thank you St. Hubert Parish for your generous support of women and babies through the Baby Bottle Project! Together we raised $6,029 that will support babies and their mothers this year through the wonderful work of The Women's Center.
The floors in the lower level of the church have been re-waxed. When doing a set up or take down, please stack chairs and then use the chair dolly, located in the maintenance room, to move the stacks to the wall. Dragging the chairs across the floor ruins the finish. I appreciate your cooperation in keeping the floors maintained!
St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, falls on a Friday this year. Cardinal Cupich has given a general dispensation to Catholics from abstaining from meat on this day. Instead, Catholics in the Archdiocese of Chicago who choose to make use of this general dispensation are asked to substitute another form of penance for the Lenten Friday abstinence.

The 45 units collected on this drive will potentially save 135 lives!!! Our next Blood Drive is the Eighth Annual Gayle Photoikarm Memorial Blood Drive which will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
The Bereavement Ministry provides support during the difficult time of losing a loved one. Assistance is offered in planning the funeral liturgy, coordinating activities with the church, funeral home, musicians and celebrant. In this way, families are able to plan a service that is personal, meaningful and comforting to them. Training to be a Bereavement Minister will at St. Marcelline Parish in Schaumburg on Saturday April 29th at 8:30 AM—2:00 PM.
If you would like to provide an Easter lily or flowering plant for the environment this Easter season, please fill out this form and bring it to the Parish Ministry Center, drop it in the collection basket, or donate online through GiveCentral on the website and select Easter Flowers. Easter flowers will remain in the church for the Easter season, through Pentecost, adding beauty to the liturgy and honoring your loved ones.

Catholic Adult Formation and Education continues the Catholic Minds ~ Catholic Matters series with Father Fred Licciardi C.PP.S on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 7:00—8:30 PM. St. Hubert Church (lower level of the church)
Those present for the 9:00 liturgy this Sunday will participate with the RCIA and CMI candidates and catechumens in a significant step in their conversion journey: the Rite of Sending for Election and Continuing Conversion. In this ritual, having heard the testimony of the sponsors, RCIA and CMI team members, and the Faith Community of St. Hubert will send the candidates and catechumens to these rites.
