The State of Illinois has passed the Invest in Kids Act—a new way for families to receive scholarships for those who choose to attend Catholic schools like St. Hubert in Hoffman Estates. Scholarships offered through this program have the potential to cover up to 100% of tuition for the next school year for those who qualify.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process established for the universal Church for individuals to become Catholic and receive the Sacraments of initiation - Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Centered on fostering a deep relationship with Jesus and the Church he founded, this journey takes pla e through distinct phases over a period of time suitable for the participant, through weekly learning sessions, meeting the parish community, attending Mass and gaining an understanding of the moral life of the Catholic faithful. The RCIA process is a restoration of the ancient catechumenate, arising within the first three centuries following the era of the Apostles.

This journey takes place through catechesis, experience of the parish community, and commitment to the life of the Catholic faith. Our RCIA community is in desperate need of several individuals to serve as volunteers in our ministry.
The Christmas Spirit is meant to be experienced throughout the year. The love, joy, and peace that Jesus brought into the world are always present. Even if we have been away from the Church, God is continually inviting us to dwell in his love and presence. Children's Ministry of Initiation (CMI) encourages you to call and see how you and your children can experience a journey back to God and the faith community of the Church.
Children, you are invited to prepare the manger in church for the coming of Baby Jesus. After Mass, you are invited to place a few pieces of straw in the manger crib to help get it ready for the coming of Baby Jesus. You are also invited to take home a small packet of straw for your manger at home.
On behalf of all the families here at St. Hubert and at St. Al’s, whom we helped during this Holiday Season beginning with the Thanksgiving Food Donations and ending with the Giving Tree presents at Christmas, I want to thank you. You helped numerous families be able to enjoy the holidays and experience God’s love through your generosity and support.
St. Hubert surpassed our goal of collecting 155,000 food items for the Soup-er Stadium Challenge this fall and collected more food donations that any other parish or school in the archdiocese!
