June Update

Prince of Peace PADS continues to provide shelter and meals to the area homeless as it has for over 25 years. As we open the new season each Friday evening beginning on October 7, we invite you to join us as a volunteer. There is particularly need of new volunteers to help with set-up (from 5:30—6:30 PM); first shift (from 6:45—11:00 PM); breakfast (from 5:15—7:15 AM); and clean-up (6:00—7:15 AM on Saturdays).

Thank you to all who have supported our mission trip both financially and with your prayers. Please join us for a Social on Tuesday, July 26, 7:00 PM in Parish Ministry Center Club Room. You’ll be able to meet the mission team, enjoy some great treats, and see our Mission Trip presentation.

Call the Helping Hands ministry at St. Hubert. Parishioners have volunteered their time and talents to help you. Jesus taught us to love your neighbor as yourself so we love with our thoughts, words and action. Please come check out our Used Uniform Sale on Sunday, July 24 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM in the Parish Ministry Center Club Room. You will find gently used St. Hubert School shirts, pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers, gym clothes, sweatshirts, and Spiritwear. There are many sizes to choose from at extremely discounted prices.

Summer is here. Time to go to the Boomers game with St. Hubert Parish! May the Force be with you as the Boomers celebrate Star Wars Night! Schaumburg Boomers vs. Gateway Grizzlies

We are in need of new or gently used items for Bingo prizes. If you are able to donate any such items, please bring them to the Parish Ministry Center by August 6th. Thank you!

If you would like to donate baked goods , please deliver them to the church basement on Saturday, July 23rd before or after 4:30 PM Mass. The sale will be on Sunday, July 24th in the Narthex.

St. Hubert Parish is sponsoring a “Welcome to America” pack to help a refugee family get a warm welcome when they arrive. We will be collecting and delivering all the basic household items a family needs to turn an apartment into a home.
