During the Mass, we are very accustomed to hearing and praying for various intentions. The response to the petitions is usually “Lord, hear our prayer.” These intentions are the called “General Intentions” or “Prayers of the Faithful.” It is the time when the faithful come together with one voice to pray to God for a variety of intentions, including petition, supplication and thanksgiving. St. Hubert Petition Ministry is in need of volunteers (who become our “ministers of prayer”) to help write these petitions for the Sunday and Holy Day Masses. If you are interested in sharing your time, prayers, and talents with the parish family, please contact Judi Stein at 847-609-6785 to inquire or volunteer. Don’t worry if you are unsure about how to go about it. No experience is necessary. We are here to help guide you and lead you along. As Catholics, we know how powerful prayer can be, especially within the context of the liturgy. Thank you for considering it.
