Training for Ministry to the Sick

Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to Catholics from all walks of life who are unable to participate in the Eucharistic Liturgy at their parishes. Recipients may include Catholics who are home bound, residing in nursing homes, or patients in hospitals. The Archdiocese conducts periodic training to help insure those called to Ministry are educated in the spirituality, theology, and the rites of Pastoral Care of the Sick. This training also insures people are properly prepared to participate in this important ministry.

First Opportunity: Single Day Training

Saturday Sept 16^th, 2023 (Check-In 8 AM) 8:30 AM-4:00 PM (Lunch Provided)

Cost is free

Second Opportunity: Two Day Training

Saturdays, Sept. 30th and Oct. 14^th, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish McDonnell Hall, 1772 Glenview Road, Glenview, Illinois
Cost is $30.00 SS. Matthew and Hubert will pay the cost.
