Teenagers and their parents need to be aware of what dating violence can entail so they can make better decisions regarding their friendships and those they choose to date. Teens not knowing the dynamics of domestic violence can endanger their family members as well as themselves.

Nearly 80% of girls who have been physically abused in their intimate relationships continue to date their abuser
1 in 4 teenage girls who have been in relationships reveal they have been pressured to engage in intercourse or do other sexual things.
