Thanks to the Knights of Hoffman-Schaumburg Council, Mike Sulentic, Ryan Skinder and other volunteers and the parishioners of St. Hubert for another successful monthly Food Drive. Your donations benefited the Church of the Holy Spirit food pantry and gift cards totaled $270.

ZACCHAEUS HOUSE is a ministry of Catholic Deacons offering hospitality to men in transition to stability in their lives by offering a safe, caring home with time to heal and to believe.

In 1999 a group of Archdiocesan Deacons, had a conversation with the Most Reverend Joseph N. Perry, Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago, wishing to provide a response to the growing number of homeless men in Chicago. “By providing a Christian home we're saving lives by transforming men into stable and productive citizens,” says Bishop Joseph N. Perry.

ZACCHAEUS HOUSE is a non-for-profit, non-treatment residential facility, providing a home for men in transition to heal and grow. Our mission is to help men achieve stable productive lives through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are not a drug treatment program or an overnight homeless shelter.

With emphasis on spiritual development, church attendance and charitable services, residents are guided towards God’s merciful acceptance of them, recovery of self-esteem and recognition of the fundamental dignity of all persons.
