September 10: A Day of Prayer As I mentioned last week, on Monday we’ll have a full day of prayer for our parish, for our school, for our Church, and for peace. The travelling statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be present to us beginning with a prayer service at 10:30 AM with our school students. The students will process behind the statue and lead us in prayer. Every hour on the hour (beginning at 1:00 PM) we will have a bi-lingual rosary. The opening part of the prayers will be in a language reflective of the diversity of our community, and the responses in English. 1:00 PM Tagalog 2:00 PM English 3:00 PM Polish 4:00 PM Italian 5:00 PM Spanish 6:00 PM Indian Dialect At 7:00 PM we will have a Mass. The statue will be taken out of the church after Mass. Our Lady always brings us to Christ. Come and pray with us! |
