I am grateful to the more than 200 parishioners who attended the Thank You dinner last week. A special thanks to our staff who planned and executed the evening in the Multi Purpose Room. To the many others who are involved in ministry, but could not attend, I thank you for serving the people in your particular ministry here at St. Hubert.
Below are some stats that are an addendum to the financial report which we published in September. This gives you an idea of the sacramental side of what we do. Thanks to parishioner, John Stevens, for suggesting that we publish this data.

Today begins the Advent Season. We all know that it is a time to prepare for Christmas. We also are aware of how hard it is to keep a spiritual focus when we are bombarded with Christmas ads, shopping, and the general busyness of the season.
An article will appear in our bulletin from our Liturgy Team giving us a "sense of the season." It will remind us that we must wake up and stay awake to the prompting of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
During a time of transition in our Church, our country, and our parish, we will be reminded to not give up, nor be afraid. The Lord will be with us. I pray with you that this Advent season will be a time for all of us to stay awake, set aside our fears, and prepare for the Christ Child on Christmas Day.
