The heart of RCIA is more than just preparing for membership in the Church. It is ultimately about developing a deeper love for Christ through the Scriptures, through the Church’s Tradition, and especially through the sacraments—the real signs of His presence in our world. The heart of the process involves weekly sessions that begin in August and run until Pentecost. These gatherings consist of those who are inquiring about the faith (catechumens), their sponsors, the RCIA team members (catechists) and Fr. Mike. The first several sessions make up the Period of Inquiry. During this time, we present a general overview of living a life of faith. It is an opportunity to voice questions and concerns, an opportunity to inquire.  No commitment needs to be made at this time.
