Girls know the secret to enhancing their day with just the right blend of attitude and energy.  Our audience will learn how to use these qualities in their personal, professional and community lives.  Joan recommends the blend of the colors purple and red for attitude and energy enhancement to illustrate her points.  She uses stories, interactive fun and props to demonstrate how to make this happen in our lives.
 
Joan has had a long and fulfilling career in Healthcare, which included the management of a very successful Women's Center at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park Il., and has received a number of awards for her work in supporting Women's health.  She is a Registered Nurse and has a M.S Degree in Management and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology.  Joan is also the author of the book "A Guide to a Health Care Humor Project” and is a national speaker and humorist.  Her topics help others to live life in a positive manner and achieve balance with the everyday stressors one encounters.  Joan believes in the power of humor to be used as a tool to bring light into our days.
