A Transitional Housing Program for Homeless Families: April 2019 Update

The Novena for Life will commence on Sunday May 5th and culminate on May 13th with the parishes’ celebration of the May Crowning. On Sunday, May 5th The Knights of Columbus will be handing out Prayer Cards in collaboration with the Respect Life Committee, and will also be seeking your participation in signing a petition against current legislation advancing abortion in Illinois.

February, 2019 Update

We deeply appreciate the collection from St. Hubert which totaled $6,509.53 from the Baby Bottle Project. By participating in the campaign, your parishioners touched the hearts and lives of hundreds of local mothers this year, enabling us to provide for their material, emotional and spiritual needs. It is wonderful to see God working in the lives of those served at TLC Pregnancy Services. These funds really do keep us going and out doors open to many women who are in desperate need of help. We thank you for choosing to partner with us by supporting our efforts.

St. Hubert Respect Life invites you to Pray the Rosary for Legislation in Illinois that Respects Life Wednesday, March 13th at 7:30 PM in the church. All are welcome to join us for this prayer event.

Abortion appears on the agenda of the Illinois Legislature. The Catholic Conference of Illinois opposes all four pieces of legislation in their current form. Get informed and take action!

Please return your full (or partly full) bottle filled with your spare change this weekend. This is a simple, but crucial fundraising effort for The TLC Pregnancy Center. We would be so grateful if you could fill a bottle with coins, bills, or a check. The money given now will affect families now and for years to come!

Please consider contributing $5.00 (minimum) toward the cost of the ad. A sample of the ad will be on display and St. Hubert Respect Life ministry will be available to accept your donations after Mass on Saturday, December 15th and Sunday, December 16th

Join us on Monday, November 12 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in the Bernadin Room of the Parish Ministry Center. Join us for fellowship with other members of our life-affirming ministry and help plan upcoming respect life events. If you are interested in walking in Rosary Rally or Life Chain event today or later this month, here are some nearby events.

Join us on Sunday, October 7th from 2:30—4:00 PM. Once again this year we plan to join with fellow Christians to form a Life Chain of people along the south side of Irving Park Road from Barrington Rd. to Bartlett Rd. We will select a sign similar to those shown in the photo above. Signs will be available from those present along the route. Family members, relatives, and those interested in eliminating abortion are welcome to join. Bring a lawn chair for your comfort. Afterwards, once again, St. Ansgar at 2040 Laurel Ave in Hanover Park, IL is hosting a coffee and Danish. All are welcome to warm up and share their stories.
