Your donations benefited the Church of the Holy Spirit food pantry and gift cards totaled $270. Our next Food & Jewel Gift Cards Drive will be June 18 &19

The Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry extends their heartfelt thanks to the parishioners of St. Hubert, who have supported their food pantry for many years and continue to amaze with each collection. The October Food Drive filled 5 vans with groceries and included $525 Jewel gift cards. Thank you for your generosity!

Please bring items you wish to donate from this flyer to Mass on September 18 & 19. Drop off large items in the bins and gift cards in the baskets found in the Church Narthex. You can also drop off items between 1:00 pm – 3:00 PM on September 19 at the drive thru by the south main entrance of the church.

This gift drive will be in place of our monthly food drive. Mark your calendar for this GIFT Drive to support WINGS. We know our St. Hubert parishioners will generously support this September month donations.

This Month’s Food Drive and Food Cards will benefit our Sharing Parish, St. Aloysius in Chicago.

Our Thanksgiving Food Collection will be held on November 21st & 22nd. Non-perishable food items and gift cards will benefit St. Aloysius and our Parish Community Life Program. Please assist us with food donations that would complement any Family Thanksgiving Dinner. Donations of gift cards of $25 dollars are suggested to help those families purchase a turkey, ham or other food products to make a memorable Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you in advance for your generous donations helping less fortunate families.

The generous outpouring of support at last weekend's food drive was above and beyond anthing that that we imagined. On behalf of all the people who come to our food pantry and the members of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Marcellines, thank you.

We did it again!  Our Food Drive for Church of the Holy Spirit this past weekend was a success!  We were able to fill 3 cars/SUVs with food and collected $775 in Jewel Cards and cash/checks to be donated to the Food Pantry at Church of the Holy Spirit.  The volunteers at the Food Pantry were very appreciative of the generosity and support our parish has continued to show them during these challenging times of Covid-19 this year.

This past Sunday we had over 45 cars go through our Drive By/Drop-Off Collection Point to drop off food and donations for Jewel Cards during our Food Drive for Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry. We were able to fill up 3 cars/SUVs from the Church of the Holy Spirit with the donated food, which was then delivered to their Food Pantry.  I want to thank the volunteers who helped with the Food Drive and to also thank you, our parishioners, for your generosity in helping make this Food Drive a success.

On July 5th we had over 70 cars go through our Drive By/Drop-Off Collection Point to drop off food and donations for Jewel Cards during our Food Drive for Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry. We were able to fill up 5 cars/SUVs from the Church of the Holy Spirit with the donated food, which was then delivered to their Food Pantry.  Their volunteers were amazed and very appreciative of the abundant generosity of our parishioners to help those who come to them weekly for assistance with food. I want to thank the volunteers who helped with the Food Drive and to also thank you, our parishioners, for your generosity in helping make this Food Drive a success.  Your actions show God’s love and presence within our faith community here at St. Hubert and how it also reaches out and is shared with others in need in our area.

Even though we had a cool, wet Sunday last week, the response to the Drive By/Drop-Off Sharing Parish Food Drive was a huge success! We were able to fill the truck from St. Al’s with food and provided over $750 in Jewel Food Cards to also be used by needy families at St. Al’s. So, on behalf of the Cecilia Rupert and the Sharing Parish Program, in collaboration with the Community Life Program, I want to thank you and ask God’s Blessing upon you and to keep you safe in the weeks ahead.

This past Sunday, Divine Mercy Sunday, our parishioners showed their great love and generosity during this challenging times to venture out and drop off food at St. Hubert to help re-stock the shelves at Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry. It was amazing to see the amount of food donated and the crew from Church of the Holy Spirit who helped us deliver the food on Monday were also amazed and thankful. Normally with our monthly food collection two cars are enough to take the food. This time there were seven carloads of food!
